Our screen print transfers must be pressed with a heat press.
We recommend following the below steps to ensure proper adhesion of our original formula / single color screen print transfers:
- Set heat press to 325°
- Pre-press the garment for 3-5 seconds
- Place transfer (design side down) on the garment
- Press for 7-10 seconds with heavy pressure
- Peel while hot, but slowly to ensure complete adhesion. If the plastisol ink is lifting, re-cover and re-press for another 7-10 seconds.
We recommend following the below steps to ensure proper adhesion of our high heat full color soft formula transfers:
- Set heat press to 350° (NOTE: each press varies! Your press may need to be set as high as 375)
- Pre-press the garment for 3-5 seconds
- Place transfer (design side down) on the garment
- Press for 7-10 seconds with heavy pressure
- Peel while hot, but slowly to ensure complete adhesion. If the plastisol ink is lifting, re-cover and re-press for another 7-10 seconds.
We recommend following the below steps to ensure proper adhesion of our clear film screen print transfers:
- Set heat press to 320° (NOTE: each press varies! Your press may need to be set as high as 375)
- Pre-press the garment for 3-5 seconds... if pressing on a hoodie or other heavy fabric you will want to use a pressing pillow
- Place transfer (design side down) on the garment
- Press for 10 seconds with medium pressure
- Peel while hot, but slowly to ensure complete adhesion. If the ink is lifting, re-cover and re-press for another 5 seconds.

*Garment must not be washed or worn within 24 hours of being pressed.
*We always recommend washing inside out and in cold water, as well as drying on low heat, also inside out.
For Apparel:
- Set heat press to 390°
- Lint roll the front of the shirt to clear all fuzzies
- Secure sublimation transfer to apparel using heat tape
- Place parchment paper or copy paper inside of the shirt (the ink from the transfer will press through the shirt if you do not put a barrier between the front and the back of the shirt)
- Cover with parchment paper
- Press with heavy pressure for 60 seconds
- Remove the transfer paper being cautious not to shift the paper against the material so you don't cause any ghosting
For Tumblers:
Convection oven:
- Set convection oven to 350°
- Secure sublimation transfer to tumbler using heat tape
- Wrap with silicone wrap
- Cook for 3 minutes
- Rotate and cook for an additional 3 minutes (make sure you use a heat glove because the tumbler will be incredibly hot)
Mug/Cup Press:
- Set press to 365°
- Secure sublimation tranfer to tumbler using heat tape
- Press for 1 minute with light pressure
- Rotate and press for an additional 1 minute (make sure you use a heat glove because the tumbler will be incredibly hot)
*Tumblers should always be hand washed without an adhesive pad and left to air dry.
Our DTF Transfers must be pressed with a heat press.
We recommend following the below steps to ensure proper adhesion:
- Set heat press to 300°
- Pre-press the garment for 3-5 seconds
- Once cooled, place transfer (ink side down) on the garment
- Press for 10 seconds with heavy pressure
- Peel transfer sheet immediately (hot peel)
- Press a second time for 3-5 seconds using (1) parchment paper if you want a matte finish or (2) a teflon sheet if you want a glossy finish
*hot peel - however if you notice the transfer is not adhering, recover and repress for 5 seconds, then wait for the transfer to completely cool, then peel*
- Clean your cup to ensure there are no oils present on the surface
- Allow the cup to dry completely
- Apply pressure to the transfer sheet by using a small squeege with a felt end or a credit card and running it over the design to ensure a good adhesion to the transfer tape
- Remove the white carrier sheet
- Place the design on the cup and press the design firmly to the glass as you pull the clear transfer tape away from the design
- Once the design has been placed on the glass and the transfer tape has been removed, apply pressure to the design on the glass by rubbing your palms over the glass to ensure good adhesion
These glasses are not dishwasher safe and should not be submerged in water. You can remove the design from the glass by soaking the glass in hot soapy water (I use dial).
- Clean your cup with alcohol wipes to ensure the surface is clean
- Allow the cup to dry completely
- Weed the vinyl to remove the blank vinyl around the design
- Pull the backing from the transfer tape
- Place the transfer tape on top of the weeded design
- Use a squeege with a felt end or a credit card and apply pressure by running it over the top of the transfer tape to ensure a good adhesion to the transfer tape
- Remove the vinyl carrier sheet
- Place the design on the cup
- Press the design firmly to the cup as you pull the transfer tape away from the design
- Once the design has been placed on the cup and the transfer tape has been removed, apply pressure to the design on the cup by rubbing your palms over the cup to ensure good adhesion
Our permanent vinyl is waterproof and UV resistent, however I do recommend not submerging in water or washing in the dishwasher to ensure continued vibrancy. Wait 48 hours from application to wash cup.
